Total area of Naruar village is approximately 5.5 square kilometres. It is located on the western bank of the Kamla-Balan River. The villages that surround it are: Sarwaseema, Lohna, Hainthi, Mahinathpur and Awam. An old temple of Lord Shiva called Bideshwar Sthan is situated in south western area of the village. The village is divided in various Tola (Sector). Mainly the tolas (sectors) are South Tola, Middle Tola, North Tola, Garhiya, Western Tola, Kanhauli Tola etc. District headquarter of Madhubani is 32 kms in the north-western side and state capital is around 200 kms from Naruar. NH 57 (part of Golden Quatrilateral Lane) is passing from the northern side of the village and one connecting road from NH 57 to Jhanjharpur (RS) and Madhepur is passing from the South of the village. Work of broad gauge line of Railway is in progress and the nearest railway station will be Jhanjharpur Jn. Currently the nearest railway station is Sakri Jn. connecting it to other parts of India by rail network. Its altitude/elevation from sea level is 58 meters and cartographic co-ordinates are 26.239 and 86.233.
